I AND YOU
I and You is a book of poetry that reimagines the voices of Moses and other biblical figures as they speak directly, and candidly, to God. Drawing on the weekly Torah portions, the poems explore what these figures might have said beyond the words recorded in the Pentateuch, approaching the text with intimacy, imagination, and poetic license.
Inspired in part by Martin Buber’s I and Thou, the poems speak in the first person, allowing biblical characters to question, argue, lament, and reflect with a candor rarely permitted in human relationships. Through this approach, ancient stories become immediate and alive, inviting readers into a personal encounter with the Torah.
Written over the course of a year and accompanied by selected works by Marc Chagall, I and You offers a lyrical, accessible way to engage with sacred text—one that encourages readers to find their own voice, questions, and relationship within it.
SOME SAY
A lyrical Valentine to love and longing, illustrated with art by Wassily Kandinsky.
Some Say is a playful and poignant valentine to an elusive love — a lyrical meditation on longing, connection, and the search for meaning in love.
This beautifully illustrated poem, paired with the vibrant works of Russian modernist Wassily Kandinsky (1866–1944), captures both the ache and the wonder of the heart’s journey.
Whether as a personal reflection or a heartfelt gift, Some Say invites readers to pause, dream, and feel. It’s a Valentine for anyone who has ever looked for love — and found themselves along the way.

SHADES OF BLUE
Shades of Blue, a collection of Ahron Friedberg, early poems, captures universal feelings of love, loss, and longing. Such feelings are conveyed through closely-studied objects - a silver cup, a baby chest, a trove of keepsakes. They evoke memories of first loves and early relationships, as the poet begins his journey towards discovering his place in the world.
Though they are deeply personal, these poems speak timelessly to our own unique experiences.
